ABOUT US

Mission

We are three Bay Area high school students who have created a fun and engaging cookbook for you in hopes that you will be inspired to dive deeper into the culinary world. Hopefully, these 35+ recipes will be a helpful guide when you are in need for a delicious treat during a special occasion or just a regular meal.
Additionally, we love to give back to society, so we have decided that a portion of our profits will be donated to charity. Some examples would be organizations that benefit animals, mental health, education, and world hunger.

Mental health has always been an important part of our well-being because having a positive one will lead to higher productivity such as more community contributions and better coping techniques to deal with stressors. Out of the many different mental health charities, we are choosing to donate to NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) because they have been spreading awareness about mental health since 1979. The number of affiliates who partnered with them in addition to the research ventures they support which result in new treatments shows their dedication to helping the community. Specifically, we hope that our cookbook will be a great coping mechanism to the stresses this pandemic has brought to our society. Most people find a passion or joy when they are cooking since they are whisked away into another dimension by the powerful flavors and aromas. The title of our cookbook Bake the World a Better Place matches perfectly with the concept that baking can benefit the community is a positive way.
